STL are actively involved in the outlicencing of technologies for use in healthcare applications. An exercise was carried out for a non-UK company looking to outlicence an alternating compression hosiery product for use post-surgery and a further project involved the use of nanoencapsulated technology for use in a range of industries.

STL carried out a project in the area of nanofluidics for drug discovery. The project was funded by government and individual global pharma companies and aimed to develop machinery in a pre-competitive collaboration leading to formation of a limited company.
